The McPherson Arts Alliance VAAM Gallery will be hosting an art exhibit featuring the works of reclaimed Kansas artist Cally Krallman, March 20 – May 2, 2015. The exhibit titled “Celebrating the Prairie” will feature 40 landscapes in oil and acrylic.
Krallman, from Topeka Ks, has been painting for over 25 years. Her paintings have been featured in many exhibits, both nationally and internationally. She is well known for her dynamic oil and acrylic paintings of the Flint Hills and Kansas.
She is a member of OIL Painters of America, American Women Artists, National Oil and Acrylic Painters Society, Missouri Valley Impressionists Society and exhibits her work all over the Midwest. She has been juried into many national exhibits including The Salon International, Plein Air Rockies and OPA Western Regional.
Krallman will also be teaching a landscape painting workshop for all levels of students on May 2nd, 9am – 4pm in the McPherson Opera House Mary Anderson Arts Center, 223 S Main St., McPherson, Ks.
